No, and anyone selling it as a separate product is overcharging you. Google states this directly in its own documentation: optimizing for AI search is still SEO. A page has to be indexed and eligible for a normal search snippet before it can appear in any AI feature — there is no separate AI index. What actually helps is unique, first-hand, well-structured content and consistent business information across the sources those systems read.
