We know these streets, not just these zip codes

Local search works differently in every market. Denver competes block by block. Colorado Springs is spread out. Aurora runs in a dozen languages. Here is what that means for your business.

Denver, CO

Denver, CO

Denver is our home base. It is also one of the most competitive local search markets in the Mountain West, because the metro grew faster than the number of businesses that learned to show up online properly.

Colorado Springs, CO

Colorado Springs, CO

Colorado Springs behaves differently from Denver. The city is spread out, the military community moves constantly, and a large share of searches come from people who arrived in the last year and have no idea who is any good.

Aurora, CO

Aurora, CO

Aurora is the most diverse city in Colorado, and that changes how local search works here. A business that only publishes in English is talking to a fraction of its own neighborhood.

Lakewood, CO

Lakewood, CO

Lakewood is the biggest city in Jefferson County and it does not behave like a suburb. It is really several separate markets stitched together, and a business that treats it as one loses to the one that does not.

Arvada, CO

Arvada, CO

Arvada has something most Denver suburbs do not: a real walkable downtown with a commuter rail stop in it. That single fact changes how customers find businesses here.

Westminster, CO

Westminster, CO

Westminster sits exactly between Denver and Boulder, and that is not a geographic detail. It means your customers routinely search from a place where three different metro areas overlap.

Centennial, CO

Centennial, CO

Centennial is one of the youngest cities in Colorado and one of the most affluent. Customers here research before they buy, and they read reviews like they are making a hiring decision.

Thornton, CO

Thornton, CO

Thornton is one of the fastest-growing cities in the north metro, and fast growth changes the math: a large share of your potential customers moved here recently and have no idea who is any good.

Boulder, CO

Boulder, CO

Boulder is the hardest local market in Colorado to win, and the reason is not the population. It is that a lot of your competitors already do this well.

Not in one of these cities? That is fine. Everything we do works anywhere in the United States, and a good share of our clients are outside Colorado. We only publish pages for the markets we actually know well enough to say something useful about — writing a page for a city we have never worked in would be dishonest, and Google treats those pages as spam anyway.

Why location matters this much

Proximity is the single biggest factor in local search

When someone searches for a service near them, Google is not ranking the best business in the state. It is ranking the businesses close enough to be useful, and then sorting those by profile quality, reviews and relevance. Proximity alone explains roughly half of the variation in local rankings.

That is why a generic national agency struggles with local work: the levers that matter are your Google Business Profile, your reviews and how completely you describe the area you actually serve. Not a bigger ad budget.

Your profile is the storefront
Google Business Profile signals carry roughly a third of the weight in the map pack. The primary category alone is the strongest single factor.
Reviews decide the tie
Review count, rating and recency are about a fifth of the weight. Recency matters more than owners expect — a wall of five-year-old reviews reads as a business that stopped.
Service pages win the organic side
A dedicated page for each core service is the number one factor in local organic results, separate from the map pack entirely.
Consistency beats cleverness
Your name, address and phone identical everywhere. Inconsistency is one of the quiet reasons good businesses stay invisible.
